Answers to the questions we hear most often.

  • What ages can Youth Archive accommodate?

    We host events for tweens, teens and adults (ages 10 and up) Specific age-appropriate activities are recommended during booking. We also run family-centered events suitable for mixed-age groups. 

  • Are you autism-friendly and how do you support sensory-sensitive guests?

    Yes. We offer autism-friendly sessions with reduced lighting and sound and a quiet room. Request accommodations when you book.

  • Can I bring outside food or a cake?

    Yes — outside food is allowed for private events. We can also recommend local caterers and our snack bar is always available.

  • How many guests can you host?

    We can host events for small groups (10–20) up to larger rentals (50–80).

  • Do you offer decorations or themed setups?

    Yes. We provide themed packages, including our medieval setup. You're also welcome to bring your own decorations with prior approval.

  • Is the venue available for nonprofit and school programming?

    Absolutely. We partner with local nonprofits, schools and youth organizations and offer discounted day-time rates and program support.

  • How do I book a lock-in?

    Call  (907) 707-8999 to discuss policies, staffing needs supervision. Lock-ins require advanced booking and a completed agreement for safety procedures.

  • Is there on-site parking?

    Yes. There is a parking lot in the rear of the building as well as free street parking.

  • Q : Where is the restroom?

    A :  the HIVE restrooms are in the hotel lobby on the ground floor, shared with the Sunrise Grill. These fully equipped restrooms have disabled access, changing stations and secured access. Grab the HIVE restroom keycard at reception before you head upstairs.
